Building Electrical Category Variables
Lists user configuration variables that generally apply to Building Electrical. Building Electrical user configurations are not categorized but are listed in the Configuration dialog's All (Alphabetical) category.

| BBESBIN | Location of the Electrical Database | Location of the Electrical Database. The default variable is derived from MSDIR. |
| BBESDATA | Location of the Electrical Database | Location of the Electrical Database. The default variable is derived from BBESDIR. |
| BBESDIR | Electrical Dataset | Location of the root Electrical Dataset, which is required to run OpenBuildings Designer. The default variable is derived from BBES_DATASETS + BBES_DATASETNAME. |
| BBESDIR_LOCALSETTINGSFOLDER | Location of bbes.ini | If defined, sets location for bbes.ini file storing Symbol Library number. |
| BBESVER | Electrical Database Version | Sets the version of the Electrical Tools to expose and the units for drawing setup to use. Accepted values: US, USMETRIC or UK. |
| BBES_DATASETNAME | Electrical Dataset Name | Specifies the name of the Electrical dataset. The default variable is derived from TF_DATASETNAME for the dataset name. |
| BBES_DATASETS | Electrical Dataset Location | Specifies the location where Electrical dataset folders are stored. The default variable is derived from TF_DATASETS for the default dataset location. |
| BBES_DBDIR | Location of WorkSet Database Folder | Location of WorkSet database folder. |
| BBES_SERVER_LATENCY_SECONDS | Timeout Override for Electrical Database Connection | (Undefined by default) When defined, overrides default prescribed timeout period used to establish a connection to the Electrical database. This override resolves issues were the timeout is just beyond the timeout threshold due to network latency. The value is defined in seconds. |
| BBES_SHAREDCELLS | Electrical Symbols Placed As Shared Cells | If set to 1, OpenBuildings Designer places Electrical discipline symbols as shared cells. This reduces file size and can drastically improve performance when using a large number of raceways. May cause issues with modifying symbols. |
| BBES_SYMBOLMANAGER_REDIRPATH | Electrical WorkSet Subtype Database | Sets the location of the folder containing a WorkSet subtype database and allows for a symbol library with WorkSet level subtypes. If defined, the Symbol Manager blocks modification of symbols. If undefined (default), changes to subtypes are only reflected at the library level, and not in any of the current WorkSet. |
| BBES_WORKSPACEROOT | Electrical Dataset Name | Specifies the root location where dataset folders are stored. Derived from _USTN_CONFIGURATION for the default root dataset location. |
